- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 6 egg yolks
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cups pine nuts
- 2 tbsp honey
Toast pine nuts in a pan until golden.
Let nuts cool completely.
Grind half the nuts into powder.
Keep other half whole.
Heat cream and milk in pot.
Don't let it boil.
Mix egg yolks with sugar.
Slowly add hot cream to eggs.
Cook on low heat until thick.
