Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound elbow pasta
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 3 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 8 oz cream cheese
  • 2 cups sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup mild cheddar cheese
  • 8 oz Velveeta cheese
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs for topping

Instructions
 

  • Heat oven to 350°F.
  • Boil water in large pot.
  • Cook pasta until soft.
  • Drain pasta well.
  • Melt butter in pan.
  • Add flour to butter.
  • Cook for two minutes.
  • Add milk slowly while stirring.
  • Add heavy cream.
  • Put in cream cheese.
  • Stir until smooth.
  • Add all other cheeses.
  • Mix until melted.
  • Add garlic powder and salt.
  • Mix pasta with cheese sauce.
  • Put in baking dish.
  • Add breadcrumbs on top.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Let cool for 5 minutes.
  • Serve hot.

Notes

  1. Use soft cheese: Let all cheese get warm before using. This makes mixing easier.
