For Chicken:
- 3 lbs chicken pieces
- 2 cups buttermilk
- 2 eggs
For Coating:
- 2 cups flour
- 2 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp basil
- 2 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp cayenne pepper
- 2 tbsp salt
- 6 cups oil for frying
Wash chicken and dry with towels.
Mix buttermilk and eggs in bowl.
Put chicken in buttermilk mix.
Let chicken sit for 4 hours.
Mix all spices with flour.
Heat oil to 350°F.
Take chicken from buttermilk.
Roll chicken in flour mix.
Fry chicken for 12 minutes.
Turn chicken once while cooking.
