Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds ground beef
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 onion finely chopped
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ cup ketchup for glaze
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar for glaze

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F.
  • Grease the loaf pan lightly.
  • In bowl, combine beef, breadcrumbs, onion, and garlic.
  • Beat eggs and milk in another bowl.
  • Add egg mixture into beef mixture.
  • Stir in salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce.
  • Mix gently with spoon until well combined.
  • Place mixture evenly into loaf pan.
  • In saucepan, combine ketchup and brown sugar.
  • Heat glaze until sugar dissolves fully.
  • Pour glaze evenly over meatloaf top.
  • Bake for 55 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and cool 10 minutes.
  • Slice carefully and serve warm.

Notes

  • Don’t overmix the beef mixture.
  • Use fresh breadcrumbs for best texture.
  • Add chopped herbs for extra flavor.
  • Rest meatloaf before slicing.
