For Beef:
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 onion chopped
- 1 can tomato sauce 15 oz
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
For Tacos:
- 12 corn tortillas
- 2 cups Mexican cheese shredded
- 1 cup parmesan cheese grated
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 cups lettuce chopped
- Sour cream
Heat large pan over medium heat.
Cook ground beef for 5 minutes.
Add chopped onion to beef.
Cook until beef is brown.
Add tomato sauce and seasonings.
Simmer for 5 minutes covered.
Heat griddle over medium heat.
Butter both sides of tortilla.
Cook tortilla until light brown.
Add beef to half of tortilla.
Sprinkle Mexican cheese on beef.
Fold tortilla in half.
Sprinkle parmesan on top.
Cook for 2 minutes until crispy.
Add lettuce and serve hot.
