Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 8 oz Godiva dark chocolate chopped
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp cocoa powder

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheet with parchment.
  • Cream butter and sugars until smooth using hand mixer.
  • Add eggs and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
  • Whisk flour, baking soda, salt, and cocoa powder together.
  • Gradually add dry mixture into wet. Mix until dough forms.
  • Scoop dough balls and place evenly on baking sheet.
  • Bake cookies for 10 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
  • Heat cream in saucepan until simmering. Remove from heat.
  • Add chopped Godiva chocolate into cream. Whisk until smooth.
  • Allow ganache to cool slightly before filling.
  • Create small well in cookies. Fill with ganache.
  • Chill cookies slightly to set ganache before serving.
