Ingredients
  

  • 4 boneless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup canned artichoke hearts halved
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 small onion diced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup dry white wine
  • ½ cup lemon juice
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp chili flakes optional
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Rinse and pat dry the chicken breasts.
  • Season both sides with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in skillet.
  • Cook chicken until golden brown on both sides.
  • Remove chicken and set aside on a plate.
  • Sauté garlic and onion in remaining oil.
  • Add artichokes and stir for two minutes.
  • Pour chicken broth, wine, and lemon juice.
  • Stir in oregano and chili flakes.
  • Return chicken to skillet and simmer gently.
  • Cook for 15 minutes until chicken is tender.
