- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup water
- 2 spoons tea leaves
- 3 spoons sugar
- 4 cardamom pods
- 1 small cinnamon stick
- 2 cloves
- Small piece of ginger
Crush cardamom pods with spoon.
Cut ginger into small pieces.
Boil water in pot.
Add all spices to water.
Cook spices for 2 minutes.
Add tea leaves to pot.
Boil for 3 minutes.
Add milk slowly.
Let it boil gently.
Cook for 8 minutes.
Add sugar and stir.
Cook 2 more minutes.
Strain the tea.
Serve hot in cups.
