Preheat skillet over medium heat.
Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Heat oil and butter in the skillet.
Cook chicken until golden brown on both sides.
Remove chicken and set aside.
Add sweet potatoes and onion to skillet.
Cook until slightly tender and caramelized.
Add apples, garlic powder, thyme, and rosemary.
Stir and cook for 3 minutes.
Pour in chicken broth and maple syrup.
Return chicken to skillet.
Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Check chicken is fully cooked through.
Garnish with parsley before serving.
